Professional Biography
Professor of Microbiology with 30+ years of excellence in Infectious Diseases and Molecular Epidemiology.
I am a self-motivated, positive-minded Professor of Microbiology with extensive professional experience in teaching and research. My expertise spans microbiological analysis of food, water, animal and human specimens in relation to infectious diseases and zoonoses diagnosis, molecular epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance, surveillance and monitoring. I am a result-oriented and quality-focused academic leader with a strong interest in ground-breaking research, development of new scientific skills, and dissemination of findings through training and retraining schemes. My work has established national benchmarks for typhoid diagnosis and contributed significantly to global epidemiological data.
